Internships and Certifications
In the 2022-2023 academic year, Kalumuri Mani Kanta, a second-year student, participated in an internship at DRDO, gaining valuable experience. Cholleti Vinay Kumar, also a second-year student, earned an Auto Cad and R&AC certification from the National Small Industries Corporation, further enhancing his technical skills. Gadepaka Chethan, another second-year student, earned multiple certificates, including NCC B & C Certificates, a workshop certificate, an internship certificate, and a YOGA participation certificate from NCC, Hyderabad, highlighting his diverse interests and achievements.
In their final year, Chikka Vamshi Kumar published a paper in the International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science and completed an internship at Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Pvt Limited. J. Mahesh won 1st prize in a Machine Learning Foundation Certification at ACE Engineering College, while Rodda Rakesh achieved a Gold qualification in the same program at NASSCOM.
Technical Competitions and Project Expos
Banothu Sravan Kumar, a second-year student, showcased his technical prowess by securing 1st place at the Shobha State Level Technical Project Expo in Hyderabad and 3rd place at the Srujana Expo in Karimnagar.
Workshops and Presentations
Mohammed Yousuf, a third-year student, participated in a paper presentation workshop on IC engines at Osmania University. V Yashwanth Chary represented the college at an NSS camp in Delhi, where he met the President of India. M. Manish and Saqib Hussain, both third-year students, participated in paper presentations and workshops on IC engines at Osmania University, enhancing their academic profiles. Surya Krishna also took part in the OU Mech Arena at Osmania University.
Sports Achievements
Surya Krishna demonstrated his athletic talents by securing 3rd place in boxing at the 2nd National Sumsphot Championship (SAI).
Specialized Programs and Certifications
Shaik Asif distinguished himself by securing 1st place in a database competition at Anurag University and participated in multiple paper presentations and certifications, including a Digital 101 Journey from NASSCOM and an AUTOCAD Mechanical Certification from CADD Desk.
Practical Experience and Professional Development
Porandla Nithin and T. Mahesh gained practical experience through internships at Rinex Technologies and South Central Railway, respectively. Ramidi Shankar Reddy, Pulipampula Arun, and Madeshetty Vamshikrishna also participated in internships at South Central Railway and Osmania University, expanding their professional networks and technical knowledge. S. Vishnu Vardhan, N. Kiran Kumar, Chindam Praveen, Penta Naveen, and others furthered their careers with various internships, showcasing the department’s strong emphasis on practical experience.
Special Academic Achievements
Mr. Gugulothu Prashanth, a fourth-year student, achieved a notable GATE rank during the 2022-2023 academic year, exemplifying academic excellence.
MOOC Courses
From January to June 2020, Mr. Dodla Akhil Kumar, a second-year student, completed an NPTEL MOOC’s course on “Aircraft Performance,” and Mr. Bharath Reddy Jakka, a fourth-year student, completed a course on “FAN and BLOWER” conducted by TATA STEEL.
Team Competitions
In January to June 2019, fourth-year students formed a team of 15 members named Team ACERAPTORS and constructed a GOKART for the “PROKARTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2K19,” winning the “PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD.” This exemplifies their teamwork and engineering skills.
Participation in ATMOS 2017
During ATMOS 2017 at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, several students participated and achieved accolades. G. Rajesh, P. Shiva, Anup S, O. Vikas, Pavan Reddy, and S. Aravind secured various prizes, while others like V. Varun Kumar Reddy, A. Harshavardhan, N. Christy, Saket Reddy, Y. Karthik, G. Saikiran, and A. Abhishek represented our college with distinction.
Automobile Workshops
Additionally, students M. Kavitha Reddy and S. Ramya Reddy participated in a workshop on Basic Automobile, CAD Modeling, and Engine Dismantling & Assembling at Aurora’s Technological & Research Institute, Bongir.
